Nothing worth having comes easy
This is the 6th sprint (3rd week of September 2019) of our digital product design and development journey. Glass octopus is our journal of how we design and develop our digital product, as transparent as we can. We hope our story helps you in your startup journey, and as a message to all digital entrepreneur that you’re not alone in your journey.
Nothing worth having comes easy
Advising others on how to build their digital business is something that we do quite naturally. But designing and developing your own digital product? That’s hard. Mainly because it’s harder to see things out of your perspective. Also, I suspect the universe somehow likes to toy with us at the worst time. But hey, nothing worth having comes easy!

Many things happened in the past two weeks that made me realize, we are fortunate, we do our best, and we'll be fine. So no need to worry about things that we can't handle. Just focus to the goal, not on distraction.
In the last two weeks, I'm truly focused on RPS, what a relief. I just handled one project in operation assistance part and the rest was finishing things up in RPS. Creating our own products. I'm finished compiling all operation's template in English version. It's time to translate it to Indonesian because we plan to sell our products in two languages.
Two weeks before October's event and three weeks before RPS birthday. Still many things to prepare, but I'm very excited. What will happen, good or bad, we ready to face it. Aja Aja Hwaiting!

in the past two weeks, i've been busy working on digital presence templates. to be honest, i prefer working on articles rather than templates. templates require me to think of a fairly complex concept and technique.
but with all its complexity, i learned about how to put what is in my head into a Spreadsheet work task.
there are still some remaining tasks that must be completed immediately so that i can quickly move on to do the next task that is no less important.
time is ticking, i just focus on the goals that have been set. while freelance writers have completed their deadlines, which means there are around 15 articles that require me to review. oh, and there is also a script that i have to make.
quite tiring, but ok. my job.

Two emergencies event occurs in this sprint. Because the state of emergencies was life-and-death, I decided to put my time and mind for one week this sprint, and one week on the next sprint. Looking from the perspective of live, the event helps me realize of what we have right now, and to be grateful for it.
Since two weeks of my time will be spent outside RPS, I am activating a contingency plan I have set, essentially pivoting RPS direction to slightly different courses. The last one week also helps me think deeper of the nature of my role where decision needs to be made as wise as possible, because for every each action there would be consequences. Most of the time, a lead would need to make a hard decision. But no matter how hard it is, it’s still better than no decision.
